CK-12 LTI 1.3 Installation - Canvas

These are streamlined installation instructions for CK-12. For more detailed information please refer to Canvas app install instructions.

Steps:

1. Make sure you are an Admin or have the ability to install Apps for your Canvas instance.
2. In Canvas go to the Admin portal and open the Apps section.
3. Search for ck-12 in the search bar in the “Discover” tab.
4. Select CK-12 and click on the Install button.
5. In the install app window, select LTI version 1.3.
6. Leave the default values untouched and click through the form.
7. One you get to the Data Sharing part of the form you have options:
   1. By default we request all user data.
   2. You may select any of the available options.
   3. Note: If you select any options that do not include email, we may not be able to link to your existing CK-12 account with the same email address.
8. Once you get to the Nickname, you may enter a nickname for the app. This does not impact the functionality of the app.
9. Click the Install App button at the end of the form.
10. After the app is installed make sure to set it’s availability and/or exceptions following these Canvas instructions
