Can CK-12 Provide Transcripts?

No, CK-12 does not issue official transcripts, diplomas, report cards or academic credits.

CK-12 is a free educational platform that provides digital textbooks, interactive learning resources, practice and classroom tools. While students can complete lessons and assignments in CK-12, the platform is not an accredited school and does not maintain official academic records.

What Records Does CK-12 Provide?

Depending on how CK-12 is being used, you may have access to:

  • Assignment completion status
  • Practice and assessment results
  • Student progress within CK-12
  • Teacher dashboard and class reports (for educator accounts)

 

These records are intended to support teaching and learning and are not  considered official transcripts.

I Need a Transcript for School

If you are using CK-12 as part of a school course:

  • Contact your teach or school registrar for official transcripts or grades.
  • Your school determines how CK-12 work contributes to your course grade.

 

I Use CK-12 for Independent Learning

If you use CK-12 independently, you can review your learning journey and progress in your CK-12 account under the My Classes > Self-Study. However, CK-12 does not provide official documentation of completed coursework or issue transcripts.

 

Does CK-12 Grant Credit or Certificates?

No, CK-12 does not:

  • Issue high school or college credit
  • Award diplomas
  • Provide official certificates of course completion, with the exception of CK-12's CEP for teachers
  • Generate official academic transcripts

 

Any academic credit or recognition must come from your school or educational institution.
