Each CK-12 class has a unique class code that students can use to join the class. Teachers can view and share this code from the Classes section of their CK-12 account.
Find Your Class Code
- Sign in to your CK-12 teacher account.
- Select "My Classes" from the navigation menu.
- Above the name of your class you will see the option to copy the class code.
Students can enter this code after signing into CK-12 by selecting Join a Class and entering the code exactly as provided.
You Cannot Find the Class Code
If you do not see a class code:
- Make sure you're signed in with the teacher account that created the class.
- Confirm you're viewing the correct class.
- If your class was created through Canvas, Schoology or Google Classroom, a CK-12 class code will not be used by students. Students typically access CK-12 through your LMS and enrollment is managed there.
Class Code vs LMS Integration
- CK-12 classes: Students join using a class code provided by the teacher
- Canvas, Schoology, and Google Classroom: Students usually join through the LMS, so a CK-12 class code is generally not required
