Adding a Co-teacher to Your Class

Co-teachers can make assignments, manage class members, add & delete shared resources, and view student reports. To make someone a co-teacher, be sure they have first joined your class. Then, follow these steps:

1. Click Members in the left navigation area while viewing your class.
2. In the Teachers section, find the teacher you would like to designate as a co-teacher.
3. Click the ellipsis across from their name, and choose "Make Co-Teacher."
   
   
   
   

Note that a co-teacher, cannot delete a class, remove the class leader, or moderate the class Q&A. If you do not have the option in the dropdown to make someone a co-teacher, please make sure their account member role is set to "Teacher".

Google Classroom, Canvas and Schoology LMS Functionality

Due to limitations of the Google Classroom, Canvas and Schoology API the co-teacher functionality does not extend to the LMS.
