How to Customize a FlexBook® Textbook or Read Modality

CK-12 FlexBook® textbooks are fully customizable with the provided editing tools. 

To make a copy of a FlexBook® textbook:

1. Sign in to CK-12.
2. Go to the FlexBook® textbook to customize.
3. Click Customize on the left side menu.
4. Click and drag chapters to reorder.
5. Add a title.
6. Click on Details to enter a description and author name(s).
7. Click Save Changes, the FlexBook® textbook will be saved to Library.

To add new chapters or CK-12 content to your FlexBook® textbook:

1. Go to the Table of Contents of your FlexBook® textbook.
2. Click Edit on the left menu.
3. Click Add Content on the left menu.

To add videos, images, and text to your FlexBook® textbook:

1. Go to a section of your FlexBook® textbook.
2. Click Edit on the left menu.
3. Use the editing tools to add videos, images, and edit text.
