The author of a CK-12 FlexBook® textbook depends on how the book was created. Many FlexBooks® are developed by CK-12 subject matter experts, educators, and teachers, while others may be customized or created by individual teachers, schools, or community contributors using CK-12’s platform tools.
To identify the author of a specific FlexBook®, select the textbook and look for the Authors next to the Standards Alignment and the Details section, where contributor and author information is typically listed.
If you write the bulk of the textbook, and our seeded material is only a small portion of that content or none at all, then you are the "author." In this case, the original author becomes the "contributor."
