Android
Follow the steps below to save the Flexi page to your Android home screen:
- Open your web browser.
- Access the Flexi homepage.
- Open your browser setting while on the Flexi homepage.
- Select "Add shortcut to home screen".
Now on your home screen you should see the Flexi icon for quick access to Flexi.
macOS
Follow the steps below to save the Flexi page to your macOS home screen:
Mac
- Launch Safari.
- Access the Flexi homepage.
- Select the Flexi Favicon (this can be located at the beginning of the page URL), then drag to your desktop.
- This will create the shortcut on your homepage.
iOS
Follow the steps below to save the Flexi page to your iOS home screen:
iPhone
- Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Navigate to the Flexi homepage.
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of your screen.
- Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. (If you do not see this action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you will be able to select the action from the share sheet).
- Type a name (CK-12 Flexi) for your site link. This will be the title that appears beneath the icon on your Home screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Your new "web app" will appear in the next available space on your device's Home screen. To move it like you would any other app, tap and hold its icon, then tap Edit Home Screen, and you'll be able to drag it to your desired location. When you've placed it where you want it, tap Done.
Chromebook
- Open your web browser.
- Access the Flexi homepage.
- Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
- Hover over the "More Tools" menu and then select "Create Shortcut".
- Change the name of the shortcut to CK-12 Flexi, then click "Create".
- The icon will always appear on your shelf.
- Please note, the website will open in a new browser tab.
This shortcut is synced with your Google account, so even if you use a different Chromebook, you will still have the shortcut in your app drawer.
